I would just make a big cloud or explosion shape on white or pale blue tag(or maybe the shape of a bunch of soap bubbles, or a bar of soap), write the word "REMEMBER" in the shape, and stick it over the error. I'd unfortunately be that smarty pants kid in your class; I see typos everywhere. Maybe when I retire I'll have a second career as a proofreader...
Phyl, I was really surprised when I noticed my error because I'm always the one that finds them, too! My dad and I have a game of finding errors in newspapers, on menus, etc. I do plan to eventually hide the mistake with a starburst kind of shape, it will probably just have to wait until our next teacher work day because it's at my crazy schedule school. And just to clarify, I did not mean "Smarty Pants" as an insult! :)
"remember" is one of those tough words! I'd totally make a little sign and post it over it..it would draw attention to the sign itself like HEY remember to do this!
I couldn't believe I spelled it wrong then I remembered I took a phone call in the middle of painting it.
Hope my comment didn't offend! And I'm not insulted by the name Smarty Pants :-)
Definitely no offense here! :)
I did that with my own name last year!!!
